LG’s BD300 Network

If you are following what is happening with LG, you probably heard a rumor that LG BD300 is on the way.

And today that rumor is no longer a rumor. Now famous LG BD300 Network Blu-ray Disc Player begins with streaming Netflix movies throughout the states.

This little gadget will cost well under 500 bucks and it will be possible to stream more than 12,000 standard definition films. Members will be able to use the Netflix website for adding their movies to the instant queues. You will only have to wait for about 30 seconds before it starts playing.

Meanwhile, you can browse, read synopses, rate movies and use LG’s BD300 remote control. While specifications are still unknown, I know that it sure supports BD Live technology.

I can promise you this: with this deal announced and those with Roku and the Xbox 360 in the bag, it looks like Netflix is grown-up and ready for the digital age.
